What is a whole-house repipe?

Replacement of the interior potable water supply — new PEX or copper to every fixture — so you are not patching one leak at a time. The run starts at the home’s water entry and includes hot and cold lines to the fixtures. Repipe OC does this work on residential homes in Orange County. It is not a commercial service.

How do I know I need one?

Recurring leaks or a slab leak, discolored or rusty water, pressure loss, or original piping from the 1970s–1990s. A visit confirms whether a full repipe or a limited repair is the honest scope. We also offer residential slab-leak repair and leak detection when the right first step is finding and stopping one leak, not replacing the whole supply.

Do I need a permit in Orange County?

Yes. A full-house supply replacement needs a plumbing permit and inspection. Repipe OC files the permit and meets the city inspector.

PEX or copper?

Most Orange County homes are a good fit for PEX because it does not pit from hard water the way older copper can. Copper is available when you want metal or a visible run in Type L. Hybrid scopes — PEX interior runs with copper stub-outs and copper hose bibs — are already how we describe many houses. We will walk both options on site.

What does the 25-year warranty cover?

The 25-year carefree transferable warranty covers parts and labor on the supply pipes and fittings we install, for 25 years, and it transfers to the next owner. A claim is a call, a site visit, and a covered repair. It does not cover misuse, earthquake or soil movement, or unrelated fixture maintenance. Will you patch the walls?

Yes. Access openings are patched, and texture matching is included. Paint-to-match only if it is in the signed scope.
